💲 NEED FINANCIAL ADVICE? 💲
1) Google "fee-only financial adviser" or visit www.NAPFA.org (largest association of fee-only financial advisers). NOT an affiliate link
2) The first question to ask any financial adviser is, "Are you a fiduciary to me 100% of the time". Get the answer in writing
3) Please note that some people call themselves "fee-based". This is NOT the same as fee-only. Fee-only advisers have committed to being fiduciary to you 100% of the time.
4) Personally, I would only hire an adviser who is a fiduciary to me 100% of the time. This is not a suggestion on what you should do. Just sharing my personal preference.
⚠️ Azul's "Scammer" Warning ➡ PLEASE READ! ⚠️
Be careful of scammers. In the comments section, I will NEVER ask you to contact me, offer any investment products, recommend a stock broker, or anything similar. Some scam bot commenters 'ask' for investment help, and later, other comment bots reply with "how great X idea/investment/person is" in the replies. These are scam threads. Do not fall for them.
🚨 Azul's VIDEOS ARE NOT FINANCIAL ADVICE (Disclaimer) 🚨
This information is only provided as an informational resource and should not be viewed as investment advice or recommendations. To get professional financial advice from a fee-only financial advisor near you, please visit www.napfa.org.
The decisions on how to invest, when to retire, and other financial planning topics are some of the most important financial decisions you will make in your life. I urge you to seek professional financial advice as you make this decision. Ideally, from a financial adviser, AND a CPA AND an attorney. Having the perspective of all three professions will help you make the right decision for you and your family.
This information is being presented without consideration of the investment objectives, risk tolerance, or financial circumstances of any specific investor and may NOT be suitable for all investors.
This information is NOT intended to, and should NOT, form a primary basis for any investment decision that you may make. Always consult your own legal, tax, and/or investment advisor before making any investment/tax/estate/financial planning considerations or decisions.
Spoiler Alert: There are no "get rich" programs. Rather, just basic blocking & tackling and putting in time and care. Do your homework, choose wisely and (IMHO) work with experienced professionals who are fiduciary to you 100% of the time.

We experienced the peak of our era, and now it is gone. Recession is tanking everything including 401K. My retirement equities portfolio of $750K is in the reds. I keep losing because of inflation. This world will fall to the corrupt rulers in the same way that Rome did. I'm sorry if you're thinking about retiring and you're worried that your pension won't be enough to meet the rising cost of living. Horrible foreign policies everywhere, bad regulatory policy, bad fiscal policy, and bad energy policy.

For the average person, the strategies are fairly demanding. In actuality, most professionals who have the necessary abilities and knowledge to complete such occupations do so successfully.

Due to my demanding job, I lack the time to thoroughly assess my investments and analyze individual stocks. Consequently, for the past seven years, I have enlisted the services of a fiduciary who actively manages my portfolio to adapt to the current market conditions. This strategy has allowed me to navigate the financial landscape successfully, making informed decisions on when to buy and sell. Perhaps you should consider a similar approach.

Azul it's hard taking any information concerning financial management from a communist country. They may have 300 million people in their middle class bit considering the overall size of their population it's quite insignificant. Their government controls everything and they can make their financial security disappear faster than you posting a video. Thanks for sharing though.

The increasing tax rate is the reason I rolled over my 401k to a ROTH. I wouldn't want to be paying taxes on current income on withdrawals made from my retirement account. I have been maxing out my 401k, 457b and Roth IRA for the past decade. Two incomes doing the same. Grinding down hard in my 20s-30s to let it ride into my 40s and beyond.

Pre-tax contribution may help reduce tax in you pre-retirement years. While after-tax-contribution may help reduce your income tax burden during retirement.

Both have their advantages but is also very possible to save for retirement outside retirement plan, such as an individual investment account or employing the expertise of a retirement planner/advisor.

    • @ScottArmstrong12
      @ScottArmstrong12 3 години тому

Well.. I do not perceive location as a barrier. You don't have to be in the big city to get the help you need. All you need is to get an advisor who pays close attention to your financial objectives and provide you with the appropriate strategy tailored towards achieving those goals. A financial planner that is committed to acting in your best interest. In so doing, the location where you are will not be a problem.

Wow! What a great video. you so well articulated. Monetary and Fiscal policies should work hand in hand to have a full effect, but we live in an era where government just doesn't care, it will spend and double-down and spend more and more.. it just doesn't care, and it would debilitate the monetary policy. The sad outcome will be likely BOTH the transition to a digital dollar CBDC that will give ultimate control to the government thus shrinking even more the independence of the central bank. At some point the central bank will have no actual meaning left. Honestly, it feels we're not too far from it already..... I would buy Bitcoin and buy hard assets like gold /silver as a store of value while also actively trading...The only wild card for us investors is to actively engage the market by trading, it's about playing it smart and steady during trading...managed to grow a nest egg of around 100k to a decent 732k in the space of a few months... I'm especially grateful to Kerrie Farrell, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape...

Both of my siblings were given a free ride well into adulthood, and I wasn't for whatever reason, and I ended up doing better in terms of finances, health, and stability. I don't believe in giving everything to your children when they are young because youth is the time to learn from failures. If never been given the chance to fail when young and to learn from those failures, in older age the failures can be far more devastating IMO

This channel promotes fear. I would imagine among the reasons Azul continues to crank out videos is to generate a UA-cam revenue stream, so I guess he doesn't take his own advice :-) Stop working Azul! Many of us will work into our late 60s and 70s for a whole range of reasons. Where ever you are at you can be happy and enjoy your time. If you are working, you still have free time, and more funds to enjoy that free time. I personally have never had a goal of not working. There are certainly days, and more of them, where I'd like less stress. Having no paycheck would be stressful. Less ability to help my young adult children and other members of my extended family would be stressful. I definitely agree with "screw fear", including the fear of not retiring. I get the concept of the "the youth of our senior years", and hopefully we've enjoyed our actual youth and middle age too... and will enjoy the senior years of our senior years. That's my plan.

Philliphine families are a true example how they look after their family and elders. We get to the Chinese - it is expected that you put a percentage of your earnings into the Chinese community pit to then fund a childs teeth work, music gear, their first car etc. Common for the children to treat their elders like crap.

Agreed, the role of advisors can only be overlooked, but not denied. I remember in early 2020, during covid-outbreak, my portfolio worth around 300k took a slight fall, apparently due to the pandemic crash, at once I consulted an advisor in order to avoid panic-selling. As of today, my account has yielded big fat yields, and leverages on 7-figure, only cos I delegate my excesses right.

Multigenerational living arrangements only work for nationalities that have always lived this way, like Indians from India mostly. But in our modern North American society, such living arrangements are a recipe for disaster. My wife and I crave our privacy, no way in hell I am going to have my mother moving in with us on a permanent basis, that will definitely lead to our divorcing. My wife detests my mother, and for the most part, she is right to feel this way. 👎 to multigenerational living arrangements.

My wife is native Chinese, and we've been married nearly two decades. The Chinese are savers, but not investors. There is significant distrust of any institution, and a distrust of the economy, which is why these numbers are so extreme. There is great caution toward money because of past instability. Their real estate is also a part of this, as you typically pay for a property (in total) before it is even built... this is creating a different set of problems (search for 'tofu dreg'). My wife's mother would confiscate any red envelopes she received, and used that money to give to the neighbor's kids. You have to first subtract nearly all western financial ideas, including stable banks, in order to understand that difference.

I paid cash for my son's college education so he would not be burdened with college debt. To this day, it is helping him....

That's incredibly commendable! Providing your son with a debt-free start after college can make a significant difference in his financial well-being and overall life opportunities. It's a wonderful gift that allows him to focus on building his future without the weight of student loans. How has he been progressing since graduating?

I just did that for my daughter. Paying for her master’s degree next. These kids have it so much harder now to save up to buy a house, etc. The last thing I wanted was for her to have student debt as well.

I paid for my own IVY law school education. Sadly, those who have their education paid for by BIDEN's forgiveness of their student debt or by their parents are missing out on earning and saving.
